Indomie Reduces Costs of Its Noodles

Dufil Prima Foods Ltd, the company behind Indomie Instant Noodles, has recently shed light on the reasons behind a decrease in its product’s costs following a notable increase a while back.

Indomie Reduces Costs of Its Noodles

Mr. Temitope Ashiwaju, serving as the Group Corporate Communications and Event Manager, shared insights during an interview with the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Lagos. He emphasized that the price adjustment wasn’t a result of declining customer interest but rather a response to significant improvements in the country’s economic landscape.

Navigating Economic Realities

Ashiwaju clarified that economic dynamics significantly influenced the company’s decisions, especially when it came to cost adjustments for Indomie noodles. He stressed the importance of dispelling any misconceptions surrounding the recent price modification.

He explained, “As a company committed to our customers, we monitored the situation closely. When we observed improvements in operational costs, we recognized the need to respond accordingly.”

Prioritizing Affordability

The company’s stance on affordability remained firm. Ashiwaju expressed, “Our aim isn’t to burden consumers. We understand that inaccessible products not only affect our customers but also impact us in the long run.”

He further elaborated, “Reducing prices became feasible as operational costs began to decrease. Adapting to economic realities is essential for us because our customers are at the heart of our operations.”

We all hope and pray that the economy improves, so when we realized that things were beginning to stabilize, we believed it was appropriate for our responsible company to implement another price cut.

Ashiwaju emphasized that the business has plants and installations all across Nigeria and has been conducting business there for more than 20 years.
