“Looking at where I am today using that method, I feel like one word that would truly describe my success would be ‘organic,’ because at no point was anything forced. I’ve just been telling my story, and people who relate to it have kept supporting me, and it’s been expanding,” he stated.

He said, “There are a number of things, to be honest. One is my sound, which is unique to me and which I have established. My taste is different; you’d see me wearing things I don’t think other artists would put on.”

Hilda Dokubo Suspended from Labour Party in Rivers State

In other news, Hilda Dokubo, a prominent Nollywood actress and political figure, has reportedly been suspended from her position as a Labour Party (LP) member in the Asari Toru Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State.

Dokubo, who held a significant role as the chairperson of the LP in Rivers, is currently facing a major scandal.

According to the Peoples Gazette, she is accused of several serious charges, including financial impropriety, abuse of office, and blatant violation of party rules, among others.

Her suspension was finalized on July 15 after an emergency meeting of the party’s ward executive committee. The Asari Toru LGA executives of the LP confirmed the suspension on July 18.

The decision was communicated to the LP chairman of Asari Toru LGA through a stern letter. This letter, which outlines the political issues, was allegedly signed by several ward executives, including ward chairman Ajalamonia Ibama, secretary Lole Amacheer, and treasurer Emmanuel Ibamathe.

The women’s leader, Osaki Dieypiriye, and the press secretary, Osaki Dokubo, also signed the document, lending further weight to the charges.

The ward executives stated that before deciding to suspend Dokubo, they had thoroughly investigated the allegations against her.

In their declaration, the party officials emphasized their unwavering commitment to the Labour Party’s integrity and high ethical standards, asserting that no one, regardless of their position, is above the law or the party’s stringent regulations.
