A disagreement erupts between Bashir Ahmad and Aisha Yesufu regarding Kano State’s ban on cross-dressing films.
Yesufu’s Critique:
Yesufu criticizes the Kano State Government for what she sees as hypocrisy in its ban on movies featuring cross-dressing and thuggery. She argues that Kano has a history of cross-dressing predating popular figures like Bobrisky.
Cross dressers were all over Kano before Bobrisky was conceived. Bobrisky still has things to learn from the original ones in Kano who don’t need surgery to transform.

Yeah let’s continue with the hypocrisy and make it a now thing. https://t.co/xroWbyiMVa
Ahmad’s Support:
Ahmad voices his support for the Kano State Government’s decision, regardless of the longevity of cross-dressing practices. He emphasizes the importance of addressing behaviors contrary to religious and cultural norms, endorsing Governor Abba K. Yusuf’s efforts in this regard.
