Country music fans have something new to look forward to as Ashley McBryde returns with fresh music. On March 24, 2026, she excited her loyal fan base by revealing the full tracklist for her upcoming fifth studio album, Wild.
The album is set for release on May 8, 2026, under Warner Music Nashville, and early reactions suggest it could be her most raw and personal project yet.
A Special Reveal for Loyal Fans
In a move that put her core supporters first, McBryde shared the tracklist through her official fan club before it spread more widely. The announcement came shortly after an emotional performance at the Grand Ole Opry, where she performed “Bible and a .44” during a charity event for Susan G. Komen.

A First Look at Wild
The album will feature 11 tracks, with a few key songs already getting attention from fans:
- “Rattlesnake Preacher”
- “Arkansas Mud”
- “What If We Don’t” which serves as the lead single
- “Bottle Tells Me So”
- “Wild” the title track
Production was handled by John Osborne, who previously worked with McBryde on Lindeville. This time, she recorded the album alongside her touring band, Deadhorse, instead of session musicians, giving the project a more authentic and live feel.

A Deeply Personal Project
Wild dives into some of McBryde’s most personal experiences. The album touches on themes like sobriety, growing up in a strict environment, and dealing with generational struggles. It reflects a more open and honest side of the artist, shaped by real-life experiences.
“I believe that wild little kid is still alive inside of all of us,” McBryde shared in a statement. “That’s the version of everyone I want to sing to—the part that still believes in unrealized dreams and untaken risks.”
What Comes Next
Fans won’t have to wait until May to get a taste of the new music. McBryde has been performing some of the tracks during her Redemption Residency at Chief’s Neon Steeple in Nashville, giving audiences an early, stripped-down version of what’s to come.
With pre-orders already available, Wild is shaping up to be a powerful new chapter in Ashley McBryde’s career.
