Popular comedian Basketmouth recently took a playful jab at Wizkid regarding his remarks about Davido and Chioma’s wedding.
Recall that Wizkid stirred up the internet when he posted “lol” just hours after Davido shared his pre-wedding photos. He later posted a cryptic message, praying for understanding women around the world.
In response, Basketmouth pointed out how Davido’s wedding has dominated social media. He added that unless someone plans to use the #CHIVIDO hashtag to promote their show, it might not be effective. He suggested that Wizkid’s attempt to stir things up went unnoticed.
In his words:
“Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space except you want us to start using #CHIVIDO2024 to promote the show. Which I don’t think will work… because, even Wizkid who threw shade… nobody cared.”
