Gambaryan claims that his basic rights have been violated and is seeking justice through legal means. He’s taken his case to court, hoping for five specific outcomes. This information was shared via Twitter, with credit to @officialEFCC and @Naija_PR.

According to Vanguard, Gambaryan’s lawyer, Olujoke Aliyu, representing Aluko and Oyebode Law Firm, submitted the motion on March 18. In this legal action, Gambaryan asserts that he was not officially part of Binance’s Board of Directors.

In his statement supporting the lawsuit, Gambaryan clarified that he traveled to Nigeria on February 26, accompanied by Nadeem Anjarwalla, in response to invitations from the NSA and EFCC. The purpose of their visit was to discuss matters concerning Binance’s operations in Nigeria.

However, after the meeting, Gambaryan and Anjarwalla were unexpectedly detained by the authorities and have remained in custody since then. Gambaryan, an American citizen, believes that the sole reason for their detention is the government’s request for information from Binance and its demands on the company.
