How the Abduction Happened
Joshua Rogers was driving his Channels Television branded car when the gunmen intercepted him. They pointed a gun at him and forcibly took him away in his own vehicle. Rogers had just completed an official assignment at the Government House and was returning from an event in Andoni.
Demands for Ransom
The abductors have already contacted Rogers’ wife, demanding a ransom of N30 million for his release. His cameraman confirmed the incident and made a plea for his unconditional release.

At a recent event, Governor Fubara issued warnings to local government chairpersons who he believed were supporting Wike, stating that they were digging their own graves.
