Chelsea raised their Premier League title hopes after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Chelsea are still third on 47 points, 10 behind leaders Manchester City, who lost 1-1 to Newcastle United on Saturday.
Two second-half goals, including a brilliant strike from Hakim Zieh, helped Chelsea beat Spurs for the third time in three weeks.
After a goalless first half, Ziyech scored within two minutes of the second half starting, superbly dribbling into the top corner after Callum Hudson-Odoi’s fine strike from 20 yards.
Chelsea doubled their lead eight minutes later when defender Thiago Silva headed in from Mason Mount’s superb free-kick.
In the first half, Tottenham thought they had taken the lead when Harry Kane set the ball to Kepa Arizabalaga but the goal was disallowed as it was judged to have knocked Silva to the ground.
The win came after Chelsea won both Carabao Cup semi-finals against Spurs, winning 3-0 to host the Wembley final against Liverpool.
The defeat was Spurs’ first in the league since Antonio Conte, a Premier League and FA Cup winner during Chelsea’s reign, replaced the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo in November.
