Media personality Do2dtun has cautioned musicians about releasing new songs this week due to the highly anticipated wedding of Davido and Chioma.
According to blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, the couple is set to have their traditional wedding on June 25th at the Eko Hotel in Lagos. This report was confirmed by Davido in London, where he was seen discussing his upcoming wedding with celebrity preacher Tobi Adegboyega.
Do2dtun has urged musicians to hold off on releasing any new music until the end of the week, citing the wedding as a major distraction. He explained that with everyone’s attention on Davido and Chioma’s nuptials, new songs would likely go unnoticed and unstreamed.
Here’s Do2dtun’s message to musicians:
“Don’t release any song until the end of this week. All eyes will be on Davido and Chioma’s wedding, so any new music will probably be overlooked.”
