A fire broke out at the Mobil filling station located on Obafemi Awolowo Way, near Airport Hotel in the Ikeja area of Lagos, on Thursday.
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of reporting.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire started around 11 am and quickly spread, engulfing a gas tanker, several cars, and buses parked at the filling station.
Emergency response teams, including officials from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, are currently on-site working to control the situation and prevent further damage.
