American Airlines recently asked Olivia Culpo to dress modestly and to ‘put more clothes’ when she was about to board a flight to paradise.
Her sister, Aurora Culpo took to her Instagram story to narrate how airline officials instructed her sister to ‘cover up’ before their recent flight. She was to fly with her sister, Olivia, and her boyfriend, Christian McCaffrey.
‘I and Oliver are on our way to Cabo, and take a look at her outfit,’ Aurora said, facing the phone camera to her sister, who was putting on a long black sweater, sports bra, a black nose mask, and shorts meant for bikers. ‘She looks so cute. She looks appropriate.’ Aurora insisted.
‘They called her to the counter and instructed her to put on a blouse, otherwise, she can never be on board for the flight to Cabo,’ She continued with the video, which Olivia herself shared to her own story on Instagram.
‘Tell me is that not so f______ up.’
Later, she put on a gray sweater over her dress and the trio was allowed to go onboard.
Making a joke at what the airline officials thought was inappropriate, her sister, Aurora uploaded a snapshot on how to get a similar dress as her sister.
‘Get chased off @americanair starter kit’ she made a joke and made other posts that were directed at the airline.
Taking a picture of the Carolina Panthers player, with his hands tucked into his white T-shirt, appearing to seek warmth, Aurora wrote, ‘When you get frozen because your girl wore an inappropriate dress. Just the exact way Jack from the Titanic died. LMAO.’
Olivia reposted the story on his Instagram account: ‘Oh no, I’m so confused (laugh out loud). Is it offensive? Leave it to Aurora to cause drama.’
Olivia also uploaded a picture of airport officials in neat suits and captioned the post ‘my next airport lewk’, thus giving a hint of how she will be dressed when next she arrives at the airport.
After a while, Olivia Culpo, the main culprit of the scene came out later in the day to reassure her followers that everything was okay, describing that she was dressed back and had given her boyfriend, Christian back his clothes.’
In a statement published by American Airlines recently, they insisted that a member of the airport team had reached out to the trio to inquire about their experience on the flight.
Apart from this, no news has since been heard from the airline company nor Olivia Culpo’s team regarding this subject.
