Award-winning gospel artiste Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have announced the arrival of their second child.

The singer shared the joyful news on her Instagram page on August 15, 2025, posting a series of radiant maternity photographs with her husband and her baby bump.

In her caption, Chinwo offered heartfelt praise to God, writing:

“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy, multiplied our laughter, and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby. We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed.”

She also celebrated her husband, describing him as an “amazing father of TWO” and expressing gratitude for God’s continued goodness in their lives.

A Look Back at Their Journey

Mercy Chinwo, known for hit worship songs and her vibrant ministry, got engaged to Pastor Blessed in June 2022. Just two months later, in August 2022, the couple tied the knot in Rivers State. Their wedding was attended by prominent figures and celebrities, including Banky W and Waje.

They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in 2023, and now, just two years later, their family has grown to four.
