Onakoya’s manager, going by the name Taiwo or “OgaBoxx” on social media, shared some details about the challenge. He mentioned that after 15 hours of non-stop playing against 12 opponents, Onakoya took a 30-minute break. According to the rules, players are allowed a five-minute break for every hour of play.

Taiwo also explained that Onakoya is playing two sets of games at the same time and mustn’t lose either of them. It’s a tough challenge that demands both skill and endurance.

He explained, “In the first set, Tunde is facing off against Shawn Martinez, a US National Chess Master, and they’ll be playing throughout the whole challenge. The second set involves games against random players. Tunde can’t afford to lose any game in either set. However, only his match against Shawn Martinez will count towards the record. He’s not officially competing in the simultaneous games against random opponents in the second set. But hey, New York City, feel free to come out and play with us!”
