The terrorist group was intercepted while en route to repair their motorcycles, which they heavily relied on for mobility while carrying out acts of terror in Kaduna state and the wider northwest region.
Additionally, the operation led to the recovery of significant weaponry, including one AK-47 rifle, one stock AK-47 rifle, four motorcycles, and one Motorola radio.
The northwest geopolitical zone of Nigeria has been grappling with ongoing conflicts, often plagued by banditry. Bandits frequently target the region, leading to devastating consequences that sometimes surpass the casualties caused by the insurgency of Boko Haram.
