A Nigerian man recently shared his thoughts on why some companies in Nigeria are reluctant to hire individuals from the ‘Gen Z’ generation.
In a post shared on X, he recounted an incident where a young woman made a costly mistake at work, leading to a financial loss of N2.5 million for her company.
After being mildly reprimanded by her managing director (MD) for negligence, the woman went to the office restroom to cry and then resigned from her job.
He shared the story, saying:
‘’This babe did an error that cost the company 2.5m Deal. She was slightly bashed by the MD for Negligence of Duty… Before you know it, this lady went to Toilet to Cry and Resigned with immediate effect. Na why some of this company don’t like employing Gen Z.”
