Actor Osita Iheme, also known as Pawpaw from his famous movies, recently talked about how he feels seeing memes of himself all over the internet.
Osita Iheme became famous for his roles in the Aki and Pawpaw movies, and now his old movie scenes have become memes used for jokes online. People say there’s a Pawpaw meme for every situation.
In a recent interview, Osita was asked about his thoughts on being the face of memes. He said it feels good to see his work appreciated even after so many years. Seeing his old movies still being used to make people laugh makes him happy.
He said, “It feels great. It’s good to see that your works do well out there and people appreciate what you do even though it’s been so many years, people still value it now, so it’s good. It shows that you have an asset because when you look at jobs you’ve done 20 years ago, people are still using it now to express themselves so I feel happy.”
People online had different reactions to Osita talking about his memes. Some said he looks shy now compared to before, while others praised his intelligence. Some also defended him, saying he’s naturally shy and people shouldn’t judge him.
