French midfielder Paul Pogba has dismissed rumors of retirement and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his football career.
The former Manchester United star, who has recently faced challenges such as injuries and a doping controversy, clarified his stance and future intentions.
In an interview with Sky Sport on Tuesday, Pogba asserted, “I’m still a football player. Don’t believe those rumors about retirement or me being finished… I want to fight for my career, and I’m optimistic.”
Pogba’s statement directly addresses speculation surrounding his potential early retirement from professional football.
Known for his dynamic playing style and significant impact on the field, Pogba emphasized his unwavering dedication to the sport.
“I’m not done yet. I’m putting in the work! I am still 100% committed to football,” he affirmed, highlighting his determination to regain top form.
The 31-year-old midfielder, currently under contract with Juventus, expressed his eagerness to return to competitive action.
“I’m eagerly awaiting my return to the pitch,” Pogba shared with Sky Sport.
