In a widely shared video, President Bola Tinubu was be seen strolling around the presidential residence on Tuesday. While some Nigerians viewed the film as needless, others saw it as a hit on his political rivals. The footage first appeared one day following the President’s second FEC meeting in Aso Villa, Abuja, where he swore in three new ministers to his cabinet. On Tuesday, October 17, President Bola Tinubu was captured on camera strolling around the presidential villa while carrying his security file. The video was released about twenty-four hours after President Tinubu convened his administration’s second Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting since taking office on May 29.
The FEC meeting for Tinubu was held soon after there were rumors that Vice President Kashim Shettima was representing him at public events and that Tinubu had been disappearing from the screen due to health issues.
President Tinubu swore in three new federal ministers, who had been vetted and confirmed by the Senate, before to the start of the Federal Executive Committee meeting on Monday, October 16.
President Tinubu has sworn in three new ministers: Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Ayodele Olawande, and Balarabe Lawal. Lawal was named the new minister of the environment, while Ibrahim and Olawande were named the new ministers for youth and state for youth, respectively.
