Actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has reportedly taken legal action against an X user who wished death upon her son a few weeks ago.
Toyin, who has faced significant online abuse for her support of President Tinubu, remains committed to protecting herself and her family from harmful online behavior. According to a source close to the situation, Yarlo was arrested by Lagos police four days ago for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham.
A friend of Yarlo, named Reedah, reached out for help, detailing the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The post read:
“Hello, I am Reedah and Yarlo is my friend. Heard from his mom he had been arrested 4 days ago. Heard the police came from Lagos to arrest him. They said he was cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Any help you can render will be deeply appreciated.”
It all began when the Twitter user and Toyin Abraham engaged in a heated exchange, during which Yarlo made a shocking comment wishing harm upon her son. “Your son go kpai soon” (Your son will soon die) was what he wrote.
In response to Toyin Abraham’s determination to make an example of him, Yarlo defiantly said, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
As of now, neither the police nor Toyin Abraham have officially confirmed the arrest report.
