Wiskid speech on his mother’s burial

I cannot adequately express the pain I am experiencing. Everyone in my family feels the same grief as I do, but I know that God, in his boundless mercy, will comfort us. Since it is impossible for the pain to go away, I won’t declare that He will take away the pain. The pain is severe, it hurts terribly, and it’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. Although I’m lost, I pray that God would console us all. I just want to thank everyone who is here today. I didn’t even think I would be able to do this tonight, but I just want to thank my sisters, Sister Yetunde, Sister Lara, Busayo, and my family, my dad, Brother Segun, Bose, and all of the other people who are here today.Uncle Sanya, Aunty Labisi, Fausat, my mother’s brothers and sisters, everyone, and I simply pray that God will sustain us through this suffering.
