The “Queen of Iperindo” is back. After what many believed was the final chapter, the popular Nigerian telenovela Wura is set to return for a much-anticipated fourth season. Fans won’t have to wait long, as the new season premieres on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Why the Show Is Coming Back

When Season 3 ended in April 2025, it was meant to wrap up the Adeleke family story. However, many viewers felt the ending came too quickly and didn’t fully resolve key storylines.

Speaking during a recent virtual press briefing, head writer Jeffrey Musa explained that the team recognized the need to do more.

He admitted the story still had unfinished parts, especially since the show is adapted from the South African series The River. Season 4, he said, offers a chance to revisit those gaps and give fans a more satisfying conclusion.

According to content executive Atinuke Babatunde, this decision is aimed at making premium African content more accessible across households.
