Yhemo Lee Celebrates International Women’s Day by Buying His Mum a ₦60M Car

Yhemo Lee has celebrated International Women’s Day by gifting his mother another luxury car, marking the fourth vehicle he has bought for her. The Nigerian entertainer shared the touching moment with fans on Snapchat, where the gesture quickly caught the attention of social media users.

According to posts he shared online, the car is reportedly worth more than ₦60 million. The gift came after his mother messaged him saying she wanted a white Lexus to celebrate the occasion, noting that she really loved the car. Yhemo Lee posted their conversation on Snapchat as part of the announcement, allowing fans to see the exchange that led to the surprise gift.

While the occasion was International Women’s Day, the gesture is not entirely surprising to those who follow the entertainer. Yhemo Lee has often spoken about his close relationship with his mother and has consistently celebrated her publicly. Over time, he has bought several cars for her, bringing the total number of vehicles he has gifted her to four.

Born Idowu Adeyemi in 1993, Yhemo Lee first gained wider attention with his 2020 single Mon Cheri, which featured Chinko Ekun and Asake. Since then, he has expanded his career into acting, appearing in films such as Gangs of Lagos and Alakada: Bad and Boujee, among other productions.

Beyond music and film, he has built a strong reputation as one of Lagos’ most recognizable nightlife influencers and lifestyle personalities, known for his presence at major events across the city.

His recent gesture also reflects a growing trend among Nigerian celebrities who use major occasions to publicly honour their parents. Interestingly, Asake who previously collaborated with Yhemo Lee recently made headlines after buying cars for both his father and mother.

For many entertainers who rose from modest beginnings, supporting and celebrating their families has become both a personal milestone and a visible symbol of their success.
