Renowned Nollywood actresses Uche Ogbodo and Anita Joseph, once close friends, are now subtly trading jabs on Instagram, revealing the cracks in their once-strong bond.
Their friendship soured due to a disagreement, which has now spilled over into public exchanges on social media.
On May 8th, Wednesday, keen-eyed followers noticed the actresses engaging in a passive-aggressive exchange on Instagram, though they avoided directly naming each other.
Anita, for instance, posted an edited photo of herself with the caption, “How can I call someone out in a way that will please God?”
In response, Uche shared a post with laughing emojis, hinting at her amusement.
Later, Uche posted side-by-side images of the Star Wars character Baby Yoda, one with a natural look and the other airbrushed. The text on the photos read, “Stop doing this sh#t to your pictures. Please stop. You know yourself. You should be ashamed of yourself. Get some self-love; you lack that. Period.”
It didn’t take long for Uche’s followers to connect the dots and realize she was referring to Anita.
On Anita’s page, she shared a post stating, “Avoiding drama doesn’t mean I’m scared of you… I have anger issues and I’m trying to avoid jail,” with a caption indicating it was directed at someone.
The passive-aggressive nature of their posts hints at the underlying tension and unresolved issues between the two actresses, leaving fans speculating about the cause of their rift.
