Filmmaker Sam Olatunji and Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede have come forward to strongly criticize Angela Okorie for her recent accusations against fellow actress Mercy Johnson and her late mother.

Angela alleged that Mercy Johnson’s mother practiced witchcraft and insinuated that the consequences of her actions should now fall upon Mercy. She claimed that Mercy’s mother had a history of manipulating people’s destinies, leaving Angela questioning the impact on those affected now that she’s no longer alive.

In response, Sam Olatunji questioned the basis of Angela’s allegations and urged her followers to consider her mental well-being. He suggested that Angela may be going through a mental breakdown, despite outward appearances suggesting otherwise. Sam pointed out Angela’s habit of calling out others while presenting herself as faultless, advising her to reflect on her own mental health.

In his words, “How can you accuse someone’s mother of being a witch unless you have such tendencies yourself? It’s time to check on your favorites; some may be experiencing mental breakdowns, but we mistake it for rudeness. You’re quick to call out others, yet you believe yourself to be flawless… my sister, it’s time to reassess.”
