Katrina Jones, widely recognized as Ka3na, a notable reality TV star and entrepreneur, has addressed rumors surrounding her relationship status following the death of her husband, Mr. Jones.
Her British husband passed away in May last year and was buried in a private ceremony.
Amidst speculation that she had inherited his wealth and was seeking a new relationship, Ka3na took to social media on May 30 to commemorate the anniversary of Mr. Jones’ death. She used her official Instagram and X accounts to assert that she was fully married to Mr. Jones at the time of his death, both legally and traditionally, and had not undergone any divorce proceedings. This makes her his widow.
Ka3na urged the public to respect her statement and to stop spreading false information regarding her marital status.
The former Big Brother Naija star also made it clear that she has no intentions of remarrying or changing her surname. Ka3na reposted her message from X to Instagram to reach a broader audience.
“Public Announcement: I feel it is necessary to address a misconception circulating in the public domain. There are claims that I divorced my late husband before his untimely death.
“This is completely false. I was both legally and traditionally married to Mr. Jones, making me his widow. I have no plans to remarry or change my surname.
“I kindly ask everyone to respect this statement and stop spreading any misinformation.”
Ka3na’s heartfelt message underscores her commitment to honoring her late husband’s memory and her desire to set the record straight amidst unfounded rumors.
