Reality TV star Tacha Akide has publicly supported actress Toyin Abraham amidst the online campaign urging the release of an X user, Ayo, who was arrested for cyberbullying.
Toyin Abraham had previously arrested Ayo for defaming and bullying her online. Reports also indicated that Ayo’s mother and sister were detained as well.
In response, Tacha expressed her confusion over why someone would be bullied for choosing their preferred presidential candidate in Nigeria, just as everyone else did.
She also clarified the process of filing a police petition, addressing the reports of Ayo’s mother and sister being taken into custody.
Additionally, Tacha questioned Toyin Abraham’s influence in the 2023 general elections, pondering whether her actions would have made a difference, as Tinubu ultimately became the President.
